Privacy Policy

In short: StitchDuck does not collect any personal data. No accounts, no analytics, no ads, no trackers. Your photos and patterns never leave your device unless you export or share them yourself.
Who we are
StitchDuck is made by Guangzhou Maling Information Technology Co., Ltd. (“we”). This policy covers the StitchDuck app on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, as well as this website.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no analytics or advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.
Your photos and patterns
Photos you import are processed entirely on your device to build patterns; they are never uploaded anywhere. Your projects are stored locally on your device and are included in your normal device backups. Exports (PDF, OXS, PNG, .sduck) are generated on-device and go only where you choose to save or share them.
System permissions
- Photo picker: importing a photo uses the system photo picker, which hands the app only the image you choose — the app never gets access to your photo library.
- Save to Photos: saving a PNG export uses the “add to Photos” permission, which only allows adding new images — it cannot read your existing photos.
Purchases
StitchDuck offers two ways to unlock the full app: a one-time purchase, or a yearly auto-renewing subscription that starts with a 7-day free trial. Both are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. The app checks with Apple on your device whether you have an active purchase — nothing about your purchases is sent to us. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's own privacy policy.
Diagnostics
The app may keep a small error log on your device to help diagnose problems. It is never sent automatically — it leaves your device only if you choose to email it to us.
Email support
If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use them only to reply to you, and we do not share them with anyone.
This website
This site is a static page with no cookies and no analytics. It is served by our hosting provider, whose servers may record standard access logs (such as IP addresses) as part of operating the service.
Children
StitchDuck collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will post the new version on this page with an updated effective date.
